Short Information
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026. This examination is being conducted for recruitment to various Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted posts in different Ministries, Departments and Organizations of the Government of India. The recruitment includes posts such as Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Junior Translator (JT), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), Senior Translator (ST) and Senior Translation Officer (STO). As per the latest notice released by SSC, Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) for the Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026 will be conducted on 8 September 2026.

How to Apply
Online Application Steps
- Step 1 – Visit SSC Website: Visit the official SSC website.
- Step 2 – Complete OTR: Candidates who do not have an OTR on the new SSC website should complete the One-Time Registration process.
- Step 3 – Login: Login using the registered credentials.
- Step 4 – Select Examination: Select Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026 and click on the Apply option.
- Step 5 – Enter Details: Enter the required personal, educational and other details.
- Step 6 – Enter Qualification Details: Enter Master’s Degree, translation diploma/certificate and applicable experience details.
- Step 7 – Select Examination Centres: Select three examination centres in order of preference.
- Step 8 – Upload/Capture Photograph & Signature: Complete the photograph and signature requirements according to SSC specifications.
- Step 9 – Preview Application: Carefully verify all information before submitting the application.
- Step 10 – Pay Application Fee: Pay the prescribed application fee online, if applicable.
- Step 11 – Final Submission: Submit the application and save/print the submitted application form for future reference.
Note: The original application period for this recruitment has already closed. The current major update is the Paper-I examination scheduled for 8 September 2026.
