The Jharkhand ITI Admission 2026-27-28 admission notice has been released for eligible candidates seeking admission to Government, Private, PPP, CSR and Tool Room ITIs in Jharkhand. Educational Qualification

8th Pass Wireman, Mason (Building Constructor), Painter General, Plumber, Welder (GMAW & GTAW), Welder (Fabrication & Fitting), Sewing Technology, Cutting & Sewing, Woodwork Technician, Weaving Technician for Silk & Woollen Fabrics
10th Pass Except for the above-mentioned 8th-level trades, Class 10th Pass is required for all other trades.
10th Pass Candidates Candidates who have passed Class 10th can apply for both 8th-level and 10th-level trades. Such candidates must enter Class 8th and Class 10th marks in the application form.

Residential Eligibility

Eligibility Required Document
Permanent Resident of Jharkhand At the time of admission, candidates must produce the Original Residential Certificate issued by the competent authority.

A category-wise State Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the marks/percentage entered in the online application form.

Physical Fitness

Requirement Details
Medical Certificate Selected candidates must produce a Medical Certificate issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission.
Medical Fitness Admission may be cancelled if the candidate is found medically unfit.

Tie-Breaking Rule

Priority Rule
1st Priority The candidate with higher age will be given preference.
2nd Priority If the Date of Birth is also the same, preference will be given according to the English Alphabetical Order of the candidate's name.
3rd Priority If the Date of Birth and Alphabetical Order are also the same, the candidate who submitted the application earlier will be given preference.

Reservation

Reservation Category Reservation Details
General Reservation Admission will be conducted according to applicable Government Rules and the District Reservation Roster.
Divyang Reservation 5% of seats in each trade of every ITI are reserved for Divyang candidates.
Ex-Servicemen / Military Quota One seat in each trade of every ITI is reserved for eligible dependents of military personnel.

  • Dependents of serving military personnel
  • Dependents of ex-servicemen
  • Dependents of soldiers who died in military action

Important: Candidates claiming reservation under the military quota must produce the relevant Original Certificate at the time of admission.

Online Counselling Process

Admission to Government, Private, PPP, CSR and Jharkhand Government Tool Room ITIs will be conducted through Online Counselling.

Application → Merit List → 1st Counselling → ITI Allotment → Document Verification → Admission

  • Candidates who do not get admission in the First Counselling may participate in the Second Counselling, if applicable.
  • After allotment, selected candidates must report to the allotted ITI with all required original documents, photocopies and photographs.
